Taking the global phenomenon of the biennial model as a starting point, the German organization ifa has been running the conference series “Biennials in Dialogue” since 2000.

The latest conference, “Biennials: Prospect and Perspectives”, took place in Karlsruhe in cooperation with ZKM this spring (2014).
