After collaboration with Marieke van Hal on the 4th Biennials in Dialogue conference organized by IFA in Shanghai (6-7 September 2008) Rafal Niemojewski officially joins the team of Biennial Foundation. Rafal Niemojewski will be involved in the research aspects and website development of the Biennial Foundation.

Rafal Niemojewski is an art historian conducting doctoral research on the proliferation of biennials at the Royal College of Art in London. He currently works as Curator of Public Programmes at the Hayward Gallery / Southbank Centre in London. He has been a contributor to Artforum, Artvehicle, Manifesta Journal among numerous other periodicals.
His major publications include One day every wall will fall: select chronology of art
and politics after 1989 in Manifesta Decade, Cambridge, MA: MIT Press, 2005.
