Main task:
The curatorial intern will closely collaborate with the curatorial team as well as with the production department and the publication coordinator.
Primary responsibilities:
-Compile all informational material of the overall curatorial project
-Compile and edit biographical information of the contributors as well as informational material on their work and the special contributions for publications and exhibition labels
-Provide the press, educational and curatorial department and external authors with informational folders on the contributors to prepare texts
-Support the educational department in developing guided tours, artists talks etc. for the venue
-Taking visiting Manifesta artists around the city
Required skills and experience:
Essential
– A good working knowledge of contemporary visual art.
– A strong command of English and Russian both written and spoken, a good command of other languages is appreciated
– Excellent written, verbal and IT communication skills.
– Excellent interpersonal communication skills
– A strong ability to assess priorities and meet deadlines.
– A good teamplayer
