An integral part of Liverpool Biennial since it began, this year’s show will launch at World Museum, Liverpool from 20 September – 26 October 2014 before touring to ICA, London from 26 November 2014 – 25 January 2015.

This year, 55 artists will join the roster of Bloomberg New Contemporaries, which includes previous exhibitors Jake & Dinos Chapman, Tacita Dean, Mona Hatoum, Damien Hirst, David Hockney and Mike Nelson. Marking its 65th anniversary, selectors Marvin Gaye Chetwynd, Enrico David and Goshka Macuga have chosen works by the most promising artists emerging from UK art schools from 1,400 submissions.

Showcasing final year students, graduates and artists one year out of study, the annual national touring exhibition has consistently been a barometer of contemporary art practice, shining a spotlight on the hottest talents of the year.
