Al-Ma’mal Foundation for Contemporary Art

Curated by Basak Senova and organized by Al-Ma’mal Foundation for Contemporary Art, Jerusalem, this year’s show runs from 24 October to 7 November 2014, and is presented in the framework of the second Qalandiya International (Qi), ARCHIVES, LIVED AND SHARED, which will take place from 22 October to 15 November 2014.

As media partner, and with the support of the Kamel Lazaar Foundation, Ibraaz has produced an online catalogue to accompany the event, complete with contributions from the show’s organizers, Basak Senova and Jack Persekian, and contextual essays from Jalal Toufic, Tina Sherwell, and Stephanie Bailey. Co-edited by Anthony Downey and Basak Senova, the online catalogue presents each section of the show as chapters, including INTENSITIES, DETAILS, INTERVALS, MEASURES, LINES, WRITING and FABRIC. These present documentation of site-specific art projects, performances, artist books, a programme of performances, walks, talks and screenings, and will be updated for the duration of the exhibition.
