Fukuoka Asian Art Museum, the organiser of the Fukuoka Asian Art Triennale announces artist and curator/researcher in residence program to provides Asian artists, curators and researchers with a unique opportunity to work on her/his project in Fukuoka, Japan.
The program is specially designed for stimulating Asian art and promoting cultural exchange between the artist and local communities in Fukuoka.
– Residency Period
Artist: 7 September to 5 December 2016 (maximum 90 days)
researcher/curator: 11 January to 21 March 2017 (maximum 70 days)
– Eligibility
Visual artists who are based in and hold a nationality of one of the countries or the region listed below.
Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam
