LIAF 2017 Opening weekend program

LIAF 2017

Friday Sep. 1:

  • Public opening at 18:00 in Trevarefabrikken, Henningsvær.
  • All venues are open from 18:00
  • Opening party in Trevarefabrikken 22:00 – 02.30

The LIAF-bus Svolvær-Henningsvær will leave Svolvær at 17:00 and return from Henningsvær at 01:00. Pre-registration is required at booking@liaf.no. Bus ticket costs 50 kr (cash only). Bus departs from bus stop Hurtigbåtkai (Fiskergata) and stops in Kabelvåg center before reaching Henningsvær.

PROGRAM OPENING WEEKEND

  • All opening evening events at Trevarefabrikken unless otherwise noted.
  • Bus tickets available for purchase for return to Svolvær at the LIAF information desk.
  • Operation hours at Trevarefabrikken’s bar and restaurant apply: Friday and Saturday 11:00 – 02:30 (Kitchen open until 22:00). Sunday 11:00 – 01:30 (Kitchen open until 22:00).

18:00 Opening remarks by curators Heidi Ballet and Milena Høgsberg and NNKS Director Svein Ingvoll Pedersen and mayor of Vågan municipality Eivind Holst. Official opening by Kristin Danielsen, Director of Norwegian Art Council. Snacks and wine.
