Curator, author, and publisher. Founding editor of the authoritative arts periodical Sprinerin and editor at dOCUMENTA12, and chief of transit.at. Among his large-scale contemporary arts projects are included the forthcoming “tranzit” (New Museum, New York, 2014), and “Unrest of Form – Imagining the Political Subject” (together with Hedwig Saxenhuber and Stefanie Carp, Vienna Festival, MQ, 2013). He has worked in concert with Hedwig Saxenhuber on a number of projects: „Changing the Image“ (mumok, Vienna 2013); „Trespassing Modernities“ (SALE, Istanbul 2013); „Sweet Sixties“ (Galeria Nova, Zagreb 2013); „Soviet Modernism“ (AZW, Vienna 2012); „Moments“ (ZKM, Karlsruhe 2012); „Manifesta 8“ (Murcia, 2010, with tranzit.org); and KwieKulik (Wroclaw, Poland 2009).
Hedwig Saxenhuber

Freelance curator and co-editor of the arts periodical Springerin. Since 2005 Artistic Director (together with Christian Kravagna) at Kunstraum Lakeside at Klagenfurt. Her recent large-scale projects include “Unrest of Form – Imagining the Political Subject” (together with Georg Schöllhammer and Stefanie Carp, Vienna Festival, MQ, 2013); „Art + Politics“, from the Collection of the City of Vienna (MUSA, Vienna 2008); Parallel Histories, 6 (together with Georg Schöllhammer, Gyumri Biennal, Armenia, 2008); VALIE EXPORT, (Moscow Biennal, NCCA, 2007); and „Postorange, Contemporary Art from Ukraine” (Kunsthalle, Vienna 2006).
