Western China International Art Biennale is intended to be a platform to let western China coming into the international art world, and making Yinchuan City a window for communication to the international art world.

Western China International Art Biennale Organization Committee is a culture-art organization in charge of related issues of Western China International Art Biennale. The major works of the Organization Committee are overall planning, funding, scheduling, inviting guests, transporting, artists receiption, VIP evening party, news conference, summit forum, works during and after the exhibition, security assurance and relative reports. Meanwhile, it also takes charge of the works such as holding social charities and environment protection activities. The committee consists of senior curator, elites major in art, design translation and others.

Tianye Art Museum
The museum was established by Mr. Tian Ye in 2010. It is designed by Yang Dashan (French architecture) from Ice Construction Design Institute of France and occupying a land area of 2 hectares. As a museum for public benefit, Tianye Art Museum commits itself to promoting the exchange and communication between international and Chinese contemporary art. The museum has established exhibition relationship with 15 thirty renowned foreign art museums, and holds exhibition tours in China.
Shapotou Tourist Area
Located in the south-east edge of Tenggeli Desert which is 20km away from the Zhongwei City, Ningxia. It is a unique natural landscape with rich cultural resources. Shapotou is one of the first national AAAA grade scenic spots, also, it is a National Nature Reserve of desert ecology.
As the intersection of the Yellow River and the desert, the natural resources here are unique. On the south lies the magnificent Xiangshan Mountains which is part of the Qilian mountain chain the towering, the north part is the peak of sand everywhere of Teng Geli desert, spreading thousands of miles. The Yellow River blows out in the middle, and bring out a lush oasis between the river and the sand. Facing the endless desert, the artists can follow their imagination so that their art work can integrate with the natural world.
